i dunno wads wrong with my emo ... and wads wrong with me.

I realli yearn for a shoulder to lean on, a person that i can hug and tell my worries and saddness to.
but there is no such person in this world as yet.

today might be my convo day. by right it shld be something that is happy. but i cannot feel the happiness jus simply becos i felt that i am alone. nv was I classified as a family. my defn of family = 3 members. and i will nv have it as there is always ppl who will come in and jus cant feel the sense of family. again talking abt warmth.. talking abt someone whom i can share my feelings with, NONE. wad makes it worst is that after long day at work, coming home at 9 plus 10 for a dinner... i got nasty remarks from those ppl term as family. I dunno why my life has always been so screwed up ... instead of grumbling, i have tried to keep myself a distance from you all such that non of u all can control me. but i realise i am getting tired of this of wad u call game. i am jus tired sick and lonely of this planet. i wonder wads my life objective or goals.

I felt so lonely I felt so helpless and I felt that I have to face everything myself. it is so scary.

I really need a lot of warmth which i dun get v much as compared to an avg gal.

ytd is a happy day today is a emo day

regarding ytd, once again i felt being concerned and loved. the feeling seems too good to be lost again. only my first-ever-bf gave it to me. and ytd someone special gave me this feeling. is the 幸福 part that i realli dun feel like losing. indeed, it was like onli last nite. today i felt the feeling is gone. the feeling has been lingering, sometimes have sometimes dun have.

why emo today got a bit to do with the following. but i felt a tinge of worrying and sadness and a bit of concern towards him. pls dun tell me what i used to assure ppl is going the reversal.

the thing abt me is i am still in a v confused and dilemma stage. one moment when he said the photoshoot is nice, i smile. is a super natural happiness coming out from the bottom of the heart. but i think back, there is someone who said the same thing to me, but i jus said thanks. the diff reactions of myself is making me more and more confused over who do i feel for.

i am emo more on like the lack of trust and believe in me. hate it when they claim they knw how work is like. but have u ever been an auditor b4? not all working environment is the same. well certainly u dunno wads the co culture. Let me remind you, part of it, is DRINKING. Once i step in the working world, i force myself to socialise, i force myself to realli work. but realli need alot of courage, a drainage of energy. can dun go office is a good thing. so stop practising ur internal controls and use it on it. 22 yrs! enuff is enuff. no longer the young gal who knew nuts abt the world. not saying i knw alot abt this world. but yes, i know more of the working world and i make sure i can handle it.

i alr have no one to have my wores and unhappiness being shared w. wad more do u wanna take away ? plead for freedom. simple adult freedom. the one who used to listen walked out of my life. the emptiness in my heart is beyond description.

My last paper of my life officially ended on 18 May! Education like a big stone and now the stone can finally be put down. felt relieve. actually i dun even worry abt the outcome of my results. i knw it sucks this sem. but i realli did my best.

A lot of things has been going thru my mind... After 18 May, it is not the end of the world. although i would veri much wanna declare it to be independence day.

There are many things to worry STILL. i tot onli studies my biggest worry. Now all the small small medium medium worries comes out to play.. Things like succession of YEC.. I am not veri confident in doing it. but i was surprised by my ideas when it comes to YEC. it is really a channel for me to do what i want to do and to do it with fun. Ytd, my dearest chairlady introduced me as the next chairperson to ccmc chairman. Seems like b4 i decide for myself, i cant run away this time round. So I have to take up this uphill task. Besides confidence, work is my primary concern. as i am new to work, i might not knw how busy i am and during weekends, am i gonna devote 24 hrs to community. then i ask.. where is my life??

work is gonna be exciting! I hope. someone reminded me that work is exciting. Yupx i will!

Another part of my time went into YP. that is my least priority but ya i will still go on with it. But i need to be clear that YEC is way more impt. this semester, being super busy and forgot the priority, i seriously dunno wad i am heading to.. what i am doing... i help out in alot of events in YP and neglected YEC. Actually was nominated to go some initative course.. during apr-may. i tot it was managable even though it is exam time. but after that nearer to the date, esp when there is election, my schedule got super packed and with all the stupid datelines that i have to work w for studies.. i have to give up the course. I am sure it is a good one and i knw he is in. So it kinda meant 我们有缘无份。。。 but it is realli a dilemma .. sometimes i realli wish i can be there and at least i can catch up with him. but isnt it awkward enuff. I shall be more firm with it comes to r/s.

the worst thing is i got glued to a tv serial which has a character with the same name as he is. hearing the name repeat dunno how many times.. can helping thinking why ppl names with such can be so charming forever. i will still want to knw how he is doing, in fact honestly 我尝试放下不过我真的放不下。人不可以往后看，而我还真的往后看。。。 mixed feelings occurs when heart and brain are not heading the same direction. again i ask.. what shall i do?

i knw there is someone who has been there for me this semester.. but the FEEL is jus not there yet. dun ask me why. cant really predict wads gonna happen in the future. but i think the feel will only appear when true love appear.

have no idea why i felt so sad suddenly. now i knw why.
because i remembered his birthday on my calendar as a nv gonna be forgotten date. it is veri hard to forget. so all along i trust that i am busy and hence it doesnt reminds me too much.

strangely i tot i would have gotten out of the circle instead of keep going round and round. But i am still going round and round for no reason. the feel seems to be STILL there. dunno to be happy or sad.

but having imagined celebrating his birthday has been planned since last yr. but haha things gone wrong and my plan stopped. too bad. that's life!

Sometimes, i seriously cannot imagine the amt of things ahead of me... quiz exams yec politics... they can add tgt and the equation will give me EXPLOSION! I am suicide bomber who has been always giving myself a veri tight veri tight schedule which sometimes i think i cant really breathe when everyday is working UNDER PRESSURE and STReSS to accomplish the EXPLOSIVE equation to make it worthwhile and SATISFACTORY.

Have been cutting down on stuff on one side for instance, YEC. Almost gonna be super inactive alr. But on the other side, I added extra weigh to politics. Is it like Dr Community Work Cr Politics. Accounting consol THIS IS ALL IN MY MIND Okayy... and a "course" to conduct this sat. Hope i wont be so nervous and perform well for everything that i am gonna do!

today is the real fullstop. as these tough 3 wks i have alot of things on my mind. Now it is all cleared up.

believe that today will leave a good memory to us. even though it may be wrong to think this way. but we did. we are trying our best to transit to the new phrase of life. which is back to singlehood.

Valentine Day is over. the day i force myself to think is a normal sch day. but deep in my heart i know i hav been looking fwd to this day this year. In the end, it still reminds the same for the 22nd year. the onli difference is i went out instead of staying home. i will think more if i am at home.

Looking at the flower that he gave me during IAVE, the bear bear the "xue ye jing bu" amulet - it is still on every part of my table. Arghh

I am getting better than before (i hope). The recurring sour and piercing pain needs to subside after the tide. but it really takes time. this feeling will soon turn numb i think. i am trying veri hard very hard.

i felt that i have been drunk these 2 days. The first day of the lunar year is getting boring every year... I am losing faith in wadeva arrangements made and has happen in the family... No wonder there isn't any warm in the first place. i look troubled. i look sad. forcing myself to smile makes me look so fake. Laughing out loud getting myself busy. i dunno if it is the right way to heal.

Healing isnt easy. this period is more like pre-healing. i am not sure how long will this painful process take. i have to face it and i jolly well have to face it. i dunno how long will i take to believe in love again. dun think my "like" will go away anytime until there is a "stronger like" to overcome. stubborn me :(

Cheer up is wad i hear everyday but it doesnt seem to help. it will only make my eyes watery.

is car wash donation drive again tml! the tot of last year's car wash, i can onli link it up with driving test. somehow the driving practise is veri impt to him. but as the main organiser last year, my mind wasnt at the event all the time. cos i was thinking of his driving practise. this is something that is not reveal until today. although tml i am not the one organising but still i guess even now i am thinking of it ... the feel will come back

valentines day and cny approaching is not a good thing... initially i think i can enjoy becos this year is special. But after BU, i think it would be the normal boring one every year for the 22nd year. the high hopes and thoughts of romantic scenes in my mind vanished... such as sentosa flower fest house visiting fort canning... there is something veri mushy but it has been going thru my mind ever since i land on sg... is veri impt but i nv kind of express it out.. *pls censor urself* when u say u miss my lips, i was smiling and smiling and wanted to reply miss your kisses actually. NVM. my OS in my heart usually share w less than 5 ppl in the world. nw i am opening to the public OMG. >,<

knew that there is no point ranting further but these OS keep running in my head and i cant get it off me. i am trying veri hard to get it off my mind but it jus cant. at the same time, eyes gets watery whenever the image of him appears. who makes me feel so ?? EVERY SINGLE ONE.

firstly, the emo factor comes in when i return back to sg. the post exchange syndrome. the downside of exchange is that everything still goes on when i am not in sg. when i am back, i realise everything is not the same as before. esp YEC. the most irritating that turns me off is the ppl that i dislike ALOT are now speaking louder. And quite a number of ppl approach me to run for chairman position which i dunno how to explain that i dun like the situation now and i dunno how confident am i to head it when ppl dun even listen to me when i send out emails. NO replies but other emails ALOT of replies.

secondly, the moment that i wanan go out, it feels like i need to report like army style. go where, go out w who. write down phone number. wat time come back. when the time is UP usually like ard 930 to 1000, the phone will start ringing and cant even stay longer w friends.

thirdly, this is the most stupid thing to do EVER. i WARN u. EVER! by jus stalking my fb acct every single moment to see who i go out with and what did i do.. isnt this an act that shows I HAVE NO BREATHING SPACE AT ALL??? Just because i posted a picture of a guy wearing specs sitting JUST a little closer to me & u make a big fuss out of it and say he visited me in Korea. Isnt that ridiculous? You have made me change my privacy settings to block you from my postings on fb. u MAKE ME do IT!!!

i have my own thinking.. if everything is according to ur thinking ur planning... then wad am i in this world? what is the purpose of living in this world? planning from a child till now and till future ... so everything is like some sort fixed.. if the actual reality diverse a bit from wad u think, u make SUPER lots of NOISE.

After considering the above mentioned factors, do u still think i am a living person? jus a dead one with some irregular breathing...

Tml marks my last day of stay in Korea. After having my last dinner, the feeling is mixed. Although here is fun. Sometimes, it might be lonely but i have more freedom. Back in sg, i have friends & family but yet i dun owe as much freedom.

These 4 months has been fruitful. I have explore enuff of Seoul and some other cities outta Seoul. The most most painful to leave here is to leave all my wonderful Korean friends that I have made here. Be it NCYOK, SNU or Singapore Club Seoul peeps. I will miss each and everyone of u. While some SCS ppl will be back in sg, but those who are in Korea or elsewhere, may we meet again in Singapore or Korea.

Countdown to 2011 was simple. Just having dinner with chit chatting & went to bar for some beer. Time pass, and the moment has came. Everyone cheers to Happy New Year!!!

Looking back at those wonderful photos and memories, this is what i call once-in-a-life-time experience. Seoul, i will definitely be back to SHOP! ;D

I am glad that I am given the chance to join NCYOK's event. Especially in a foreign country like Korea, I think that the experience is fruitful and memorable. The event is a big scale event which brings together Korea youths that has been involved in various exchange programs, be it in Korea or overseas.

2010 청소녕 국제교류 참가자 통합워크숍 (International Integration Workshop Cheongsonyeong)

On 19 Dec 2010, staff members gathered at Jongno-3-ga station to take a bus to 천안 (Cheonan). The bus ride was about 2 hours. We are heading to National Youth Center of Korea.

After checking in to our room, we are down to real business. Staff started to set up the main office with printer, laptops and logistic materials. A briefing was held to ensure that everyone is clear of the program which would officially start on 20 Dec 2010.

The real challenge starts the following day. Staff members woke up early to get ready to welcome all the participants from all over Korea. The long queue at the registration table says it all for the hard work that NCYOK staff and volunteers have to work in order to make the event a success.

The Secretary General delivered his opening speech during the opening ceremony. The GOH was Deputy Director of Ministry of Gender Equality & Family. This event wad emceed by the International Program Team Manager. Thereafter, some exchange teams shared about their experiences and takeaways for the trips. They include Youth AIDs conference at Austria and Jeju Research Project.

Next, the participants proceed to the hall for teambuilding and ice breaking games. At night, the first session of the workshop starts. Participants were separated into different groups according to the programme that they have joined initially. They are suppose to give feedback and suggestions on the programme that they have participated in. I have sat in for the 21st International Youth Forum and Asian Youth Camp session. Korean participants give their comments vigoriously.

The night ended with a wonderful lecture by a famous Korean writer Kim Tae Won, who is currently working as an account strategist in Google Korea. He shared life experiences and different perspectives from his point of view. He pointed out that some things have to be random, this is life. He was well received by participants as participants wanted to hear more from him even though the time is up.

The event ended with another workshop on 21st Dec 2010 and the closing ceremony with the certificate presentations.

As an observer and "staff" in the organising team, I get to know new Korean volunteers. Through my observation, their teambuilding games are quite similar to the ones in Singapore. The people in the team are extremely friendly especially to foreigners like me. Their systematic way of organising events was impressive and I have gain a lot this 3D2N stay with them.

Although I won't have the chance to meet those friends that I have made in the near future, Facebook is one of the solutions to keep in touch. I believe our path will cross some other day and we would be able to see them again!

sudden gush to think of home. On a night that is -2 degrees, i started to think... now i must be sweating in Singapore. The feeling of home came right into my mind as I was writing on this assignment which needs to link the topic to ur home country. HAHA.

Once a Singaporean, always a Singaporean! It is the sense of pride that I feel when i am writing this essay as i sounded like i am selling Singapore. Be sure I will fail it if i am too patriotic but I think is worth it Just for Singapore!

The best takeaway for the exchange is - Singapore is still the best country and I am ALWAYS on this little red dot. =)

As happy as i am, today is my 100th day in Korea. Still have about one month and a week b4 I head back to Singapore. Although Korea is nice, I know i will miss alot of things including the shopping, accomodation, sightseeing and everything... I know WHERE I BELONG ~ SINGAPORE

Thats what National Day is for! Where I belong, where i give my heart & soul and we are one big family~

I also realise that the citizenship is too good to be foregone. If u are singaporean, u will knw why.

For short, I miss home and I look forward to 15 Jan which is the date that I am flying home :D

Loneliness sucks especially in a Foreign Land...

which really brings down my mood to everything and anything. what happend? IDK. it is jus not as fun anymore.. with the people ard you who are disappearing somehow

the weather is cold. the people are cold. and the onli thing that is warm is my room. so whats left w it now is every painful day filled with tears and sorrow

the cold hard fact that care and concern has reach 0. temp has reached 0 degrees. I see no happiness with darkness.

people are having fun but i am not. the feeling of being left out sucks.

It has almost reach my saturation point where I cant take it anymore. I wonder why there are such people on Earth.

What else can I do? Nothing and Nothing. =( The way they do things will hurt. Seriously Hurt! without considering other party's feeling.

Thoughts of going back home early has been lingering in my mind every now and then. Should i or should i not? Air tickets are expensive... Coming here having the opportunity to travel and now i am almost gonna miss it if i am going back early.

Reflections of what i did the last few weeks again. I manage to curb my spendings to SGD300 dollars for the past month. Have to maintain this spending for another month before my real sightseeing and touring proceeds in December!

Went to Andong. For FREE. Apparently is the Foreign Women Culture Organisation who have this event and we got to know it thru Hello Friends President.

Andong is a place full of spirit of Korea.

Yesterday, I climbed Gwanaksan. The famous mountain behind SNU. HAHa although we dun need any transport cos we live in dormitory... But it was SUPER tiring!! It was 3.5 KM up and 3KM down with steep slopes and rock like roads which realli gets your nerves!!!

Nevertheless, our efforts paid off. We reach the peak!

Now i am gonna consolidate my thoughts on my Twice- a - life - time encounter with Kim Hyun Joong.

Never ever dream of meeting him because he nv comes Singapore. Coming to Korea for exchange, KHJ wasnt in my plan. Until Playful Kiss starts showing the day I arrive in Seoul. Woohoo. I did a lot of research mainly on his schedule and his news and his fan websites. From then on, I followed his news closely. I was totally amazed and jumped off the chair when i saw the playful kiss fan meeting annoucement by KeyEast. Then again, 2000 tickets... Korea so big... Plus Japan fans... and other countries... How to squeeze in ?? I din put high hopes on it and i just apply and send in my application thru email. I ask my roomie to sign up as well. Too bad i used a foreign account. I shld have created a Korean acct given my alien registration card. In the end, I din got it. But my roomie did!! I love HER!!! she gave it to me seeing it as my TRUE PASsiON and LOVE for KHJ.

Honestly speaking, I skip my marketing class and korean class on 21 Oct 2010. Jus to be Kiasu to reach Children Grand Park, Dom Art Hall to get my entrance tickets. There were alot of freebies. So excited!!!

There are some disappointments though. I was sitted really at the back. But i cant grumble more cos I AM ALREADY THERE> LIVE!!! From far, cant really see him properly but know is him. But his LIVE singing and dancing is SUPER AWESOME!!! I will nv forget it in my rest of my life. On that day, I tot i am quite satisfied. to my surprise when i came out of the hall, a lot of fans swamp to the black car that KHJ will be going off with. I went up too. That was the time i realli can see KHJ's face in the car. When the car pass by in front of me, my heart raced FASTERRR OMG SOO HAPPY!! that was with some distance to see his face.

Thus, I can onli stand at the entrance to see him when he arrive. Grace, Salena and I was so disappointed but we got an idea!! we went to get a photo album and wrote some message to KHJ. We asked the Korean fan who gets to go in to pass it to him. From SINGAPORE!!

I just cant get enuff of KHJ. ever since playful kiss fan meeting, everyday without fail i will think of him every single moment. 王子的笑容！

I cant find any better way to express my excitment and happiness of seeing him.

These few days besides KHJ, there is one thing i miss. Always denying that I dun miss home. thats a total lie! Actually, Singapore is still the warmest country in Asia, given the WEATHER!!!

Totally miss the days in shorts and tee shirt with no wind. Now I am experience a sudden drop in temperature from 20 degrees to 2 degrees in just ONE DAY! Oh goshhh. Totally will freeze to death. Dooms of the dooms. 3 layers of clothes and it stil doesnt help much.

First time having the urge to buy a ticket now to fly back to enjoy the warm weather. But heard that the haze there was really bad!

KHJ at Myeong-dong! I wish to see my prince again =) Gonna skip 2 classes just for him. Hope it will turn out well. Excited but worried at the same time.

The icy cold guys are getting better after their emo period. Hate that period of time. where I can really feel i am alonee...

I have no idea if I am happy or sad when i visit Mt Seoraksan the last weekend. It is a painful hiking experience but with no pain NO GAIN. the scenery of the mountains especially towards the peak was really an eye opener and amazingly beautiful. Like OMG!

Today I jump out of my chair when i saw the information abt Playful Kiss Special Event. Kim Hyun Joong is gonna do it again. Watching the last episode of Playful Kiss with his fans in Seoul!!! OMG. I applied for it. I am not sure if it gets thru. Cos it is on a first come first serve basis and there are limited seats of 2,000. Korea popln SO BIG 2,000 ppl is nth lor. Arghhh OH MY!!! i am so gonna regret again. Haixxxx Enviousss. Even if i am in Seoul, I cant get to see him.

Well, my travelling started to ease and settle down for sch work. Meetings and more meetings take up my free day. I totally hate it.

MT MT MT. Is suppose to be a teambuilding cum orientation to all students of SNU. Guess wad? it turns out to be a singapore gathering where sg students from the 3 Unis whom came to SNU gets to gather. I jus realise onli we understand our language. Like our singlish and the funny stories that the foreigners will not understand.

The night was like a chalet except that we are in a province away from Seoul. It is all covered with mountains. The place that we sleep is the old traditional style of korean housing.

But today i came back.. although veri tired din realli catch some slp. 我很不安。Jus hav the feel that something is gonna be wrong... all the downslope of my life has arrived. Wash clothes become stain clothes. Cut label of the clothes become accidentally cut a small piece of cloth off. Dry clothes become the shorts get spoilt!!! WHYYYY the hell is this funny and freaking things happening in jus one dayyy...

And I studied a little bit of Korean for my Korean quiz tml. Shall start my other readings later after dinner...

Today is the first lesson of the core modules. It is just as shitty as expected. Sianx. Every wk has to hand up one assignment and 1 week on tuesday. How to Pass arh ?? This is Korea's Top University. OMG. I wanna slack moree. Haven prepare the mentality to study here. Playing is my first priority.

Went to a lot of places over the weekends, Yongsan, Hongdae, Insadong & Times Square. Pretty fruitful. Monday was a walking day which hurts my toes and feet. I actually walk like one subway station to another. Haha is not like SG's subway. Haha is dunno how many times. It is becos we are jus too adventurous. I dunno man. HAha is just fun to discover things our way.

From the story that he wants to build a hse and the sudden sweet talk, i dunno wads going on with him. But is pure sweetness last nite and I really just fall straight into bed into my dreams.

Seoul Far Seoul Good.

Reach Seoul on Monday morning. Was abit dampen when the moment we touch down, Joel say HE WANNA GO HOME. Lolx.

1.5hrs to SNU by the Airport Bus. But anyway, moving into dorm was quite fast as my buddy is super nice. Haha He is cute and enthu. Kekeke. thanks Chang Chang! Lunch for 2,500 won in the campus caferteria. After that went to Nakseongdae area to buy necessities. Dinner was bad. I tot we spend quite a bit on the travelling. One trip on the bus cost 1100 won. Its quite expensive... and we took quite a number of rides since there is only one shuttle bus in SNU.

Second day, woke up realli late! Maybe due to lack of sleep. Have a brunch for 4,000 won at Blk 900 resturant. Kimchi Soup and Rice =) Niceee! Went to the webservice orientation to create a SNU account and followed by the CBA Global Orientation. After that is Party Time. Went to Jin Bar near SNU subway station and drink till 10.30pm. Took a bus back. I wash clothes till 2AM sia. It took one hr for the washing machine to find it's job. Then, the drying machine take over and it took 50 mins. Tiredd. Shall sleep more tonight.

Was actually quite satisfied with today's iternary. Haha As Jin Hui and I dun have lesson today, we planned last night. In the morning, we went for the 3rd orientation at Museum of Arts. Den followed by 2,500 won cheap meal at CBA. We headed to admin building to take the shutte bus out of sch. Absolutely Free! Wahahha. Reach SNU subway buy T-Money ticket. Like our ezlink. will get like 100 won discount for every trip i think. Go! and reach Samseong Subway Station. We were welcomed by the COEX Mall. Haha The mall is so HUGE so HUGE. so many times of SG shopping mall. There is a combi of places to go there. There is the Kimchi Field Museum, COEX Aquarium, COEX Mega Box Theatre, Oakwood. Besides that, there is Seven Luck Casino, City Airport, Hyundai Departmental Store (like takashimaya). So fascinating =D I think is a combi of suntec (having convention halls), takashimaya, Paragon.. and many many more. See the huge-ness HAhaa

Our last stop was just outside COEX mall. It was Bongeunsa Temple. We got free tour guide! English one somemore. She is a veri nice lady who explain to us patiently abt 1 hr lei . omgggg.

Headed back to sch through subway and free shuttle bus. Happy and satisfied today. Have Chicken for dinner and gonna be out for Dorm Orientation later at 10PM.

今天我觉得我的行程很赶。可是这没有停过的脚步却让我觉得是值得的。我深深地被一个超越老师的不平凡的老师感动了。甚至有想哭的感动。他的离开轰动了整个学校。看到学生为他精心设想的PARTY，深受感动。

搭徳士来来去去花了15块却可以看到他MAN的一面，他的认真，他那真诚的心。。。想起时，会有幻想。不可以！绝对不可以！想着想着不尽微笑起来。我是不是疯了？

他的帅是我不会感到厌倦的。好神奇哦。

可是我们刚刚那个离别，好生气。。。到底我这么了？我应该试着体谅。可是我的任性糟蹋了所有。可是有时，我也很想有人站在我的立场想想。可能我太自私了。

虽然明天的活动，他不能来，我觉得很遗憾。有点失望。可是看到他对生活不断努力，我感到很欣慰。

Almost falling off the edge. Looking down.

Looking Back. Looking below. That is how a person at crossroad feels. Feel like jus closing eyes and nv wake up forever. Feel like trying to dash out of the road without much tot and feel the cars around you.

How would that feel?

What I need to know now is ... what's next? will there be another disaster? will there be another war? will there be anymore bombs? Lost my directions in the juggle and dunno how to proceed next. Painful experience to make myself stronger? Not much of a use as the problem is nv resolved.

If they ever ever know it is an abuse to me. If they ever ever know it brings hurting and pain. If they ever ever realise... I think they wont. They have the gut feel and the proud feel that they are always right and they have the right to win. It is the best and the most perfect way of doing things.

Shld i file a lawsuit? Cant wait for the 2 weeks to end and my new life begins. ReLive a new life for a short 5 mths.

I onli plead for the slightest slightest trust and freedom to my life. Just that simple. But I know I wont have it. Cos in my life dictionary says Control. Puppet. Living Dead. Planned life. Just follow instructions.

As much as U dun like to see me. I DUN like to see you FURTHER. I wish my graduation is fast forward w a stable job and a stable income to live off myself.

What a situation to start the week. Trust, the topic again... absolutely 0 trust really turn me off to the max. I think if i dun leave this hse, I will sink into depression very very soon. Quite strong to hold it for 21 yrs.

Everything I do is all wrong. Including settling excess baggage and money changing. It has been termed as an excuse to go out with friends. How would you feel? Totally not allow to go out with friends... Why? I dun get it.

Imagine there is a "bomb" at home, and it will explode every now and then. Imagine a GPS implanted on you, it has absolutely no privacy.Living in extreme fear. Living in extreme fear of being chase out of the house.

Reporting is a common thing in my life. Report my life. When reporting what is true and people thinks u are lying. How would you feel?

When the most trusted YEC events termed as a chance to go out with friends... AGAIN. I am quite turn off especially hosting delegates being an international exchange... I was termed to be having fun with friends and dun want to go home early. What a joke! Which is one of the reason why I want to quit...To quit, I lost my life. I lost my friends. Just leave an empty cage and soon be a person to talk to 4 walls and be a lonely person. Again, lost my goal & purpose in life.

Eager to leave for the far far away land although is just 2 weeks away. Even if I am on the far far away land, GPS still can track me. Not to go travel outside the capital. And stay where I am.

Already no bond felt. no warm felt. This world is never warm. It has been icy cold. Now it has reach the stage of freezing. I am more certain I am alone in this black black world.

World Expo Volunteer Day

Visiting World Expo 2010 is a unique experience to most of us. Despite the endless queues, blazing sun and crowds of people, delegates visited various pavilions ranging from Thailand to Africa. In just 3 days in the World Expo, we are exposed to different cultures from different parts of the world. I felt that it is a mini around-the-world experience. On top of that, delegates spent our last day in World Expo participating in this meaningful activity called the “World Expo Volunteer Day”. We are honoured and happy to be given the chance to experience what it takes to be a volunteer in World Expo. Although we are volunteers in a different context, it is the same sense of satisfaction that we are able to serve the public when we are performing our duties.

Sunshine Community Youth Affairs Centre
Sunshine Community Youth Affairs Centre (SCYAC), establish on 18 Feb 2004 is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation. Its main objective is to help youths aged 14-22 years old school dropouts that lack the supervision of parents. Singapore delegates gets to visit one of the centre and was warmly welcome by an insightful introduction by the SCYAC officer. One of their remarkable activities was China's first shelter for internet addicts to help them bridge the gap between their virtual world and dysfunctional family homes. During the discussion and interaction session, we also learned about their recruitment of volunteers and creating awareness and channels for needy youths. Those sharings are good learning pointers where some of it would be applicable to the Singapore context. Delegates get a deeper understanding on Shanghai’s initiative in assisting the youths to get on the right track.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower & Shanghai City Museum

The glass floor really makes us feel like we are walking on air!

On our way to the Orientatl Pearl TV Tower, we pass through Lujiazi. Known as the Bund, it is Shanghai’s financial center. Standing at 259M high off the ground, it is a great place for a bird’s eye view of Shanghai. The Shanghai City Museum in the Pearl Tower led us to the history of Shanghai to the Modern Shanghai. The most interesting part of the museum came from the last part of the museum where there is a line of architecture buildings of Shanghai. Understanding the evolution of Shanghai architecture due to their history is a refreshing experience for me. For instance, there are still many places in Shanghai that has a mixture of Chinese and French culture. After several wars, Shanghai has been divided with China and other European countries. Today, British buildings can be seen on The Bund while the French-style buildings can be seen in the Sun Yat Sen’s Former Residence and Old French Concession Street along Huaihai Road.

I finally see it for myself. What I study abt the worlds tallest architecture!

i dun get why the way adults deal with things in a stubborn manner. in fact, i find it veri superficial. and there is an element called childish. dun like the communication style. is interrogations, threatening once they disagree with something. thinking is the best way to win and get things smoothly in their accord. In fact, it turned out to be the worst thing ever. I hate home. I dun feel family. I become cold blooded when dealing with things. I am superficial as well. which i realli hate myself for it. turn me into an ambitious freak. who realli emphasis,obtain the status and reputation that i dream to have. I am a step closer.

Believing that all my busy-ness will pay off. Going for different activities... devoting totally zero time to myself. Mostly to doing things by volunteering, by organising, by learning. Today is a tiring day. I woke up at 6AM. Morning call at 6.30AM for xeno to wake up for his RUN. hee. Sexy voice in the morning =)

Went to Jurong Lake to assist in the T-Net X-trail Challenge 2010. Ended my "YEC" event and went back home to wash up and change. I was sweating from head to toe.

My awesome seniors who made the RACE POSSIBLE!!!

Change. Makeup. And off I head out to Bugis. To Park Royal Hotel in particular to attend Vasan's birthday party. S01 gathering. Nice buffet lunch with make me FAT again. =X

My 3rd destination with love - Peranakan Museum. And went Prinsep St. for some chilling relaxing session.

So tired that I slept on my whole journey home.

Came back. Open my mailbox, YEC! arghh i dun wish to be haunted by it. I miss Carol * 1,000,000!!! Pls come back quickly okay. YEC cannot function w.o you. Attending meetings, spending most of my off-office hours on YEC stuff.. I got no more free timeeee to myself =X This coming wk onli have Friday left for me to emo one corner. I am not a true leader. Have been sleeping all day. It has been long since i slept past 12PM. Haven get ample rest ever since dunno when. Haha. Life of a workaholic is always busy. And throughout my life, although i grumble abt my busy life, but i actually came across more ZAI ppl who really works their life almost like 24 hours as if it is the last day on Earth ~ people like Mr Fong and my new fren at work, over at NE. Why I always have network with Northeast ppl. I really have no idea... where the hell is my WEST or SOUTHWEST network! i totally have ZERO contacts. Shld i move to northeast instead? hahahaha.

Arghh anyw was feeling quite sick today. WOrld is spinning... Felt like sleeping every now and then. I look at the emails b4 carol fly off... HAhA. Was chatting with her and she is officially YP but she is not cc in the contact list of YP but now i am and she is not. I am one step into YP. Ahaha i was doing some house spring cleaning to my cupboards and i found some handy information - Seoul Map which i have kept for 2 years. Still rmb my first time to S.Korea after my A levels =) Gonna collect my SNU acceptance package next week and we can liaise with my friends-to-be to plan our exciting Korea exchange=) Shall look at the MAPS to discover my good-direction-skills with 3 guys who dunno any korean... 3 of them think that they are doom and wanna stick to me cos i can speak some korean. But apparently I not that ZAI too. need to flip thru my notes to refresh my memory. HAHA [PS: i dunno why my great direction skills always screw up when i was with this particular guy - perhaps i rely on him to bring me ard]

First Day @ Work! My first step into the accounting career, specialising in audit. I find the partner's introduction very inspiring!!! You must have the PAssion in work in this field to continue striving and flying high in this field. Quite true. I MUST Love MY JOB!!! Although i haven started on any assignment since these 3 days are orientation, but i think i will WORK real hard. OT oso nvm. Got chance to work till MORNING oso can. I just camp in office. Is the experience that matters.

Be it YEC or work or sch, any assignment that is assigned to me, I will make sure I put 101% into the work and get it done by hook or by crook. thats my attitude to "Life". So I guess.. workaholic genes is innate in me and I would have time to venture into something else which i call LIFE! no life is sometimes good in the sense that I am quite pre-occupied and too busy to think of my future... Just keep going.... I think i will regret in the near future but is worth the time to devote myself to career. So i would say bye bye to YEC if there is a need cos my career is important den anything else.

Totally a 202 and 205 and 213 talk today. Abt security and audit talk.

Taking a smalll BREAK from my LONG journey of exams.

Finally 3 DOWN. Sad to say that not very confident though. Why they like to stunn us with all their tricks??? Students got weak heart you know, cannot take so many blows at one go! Every time Qns 1 give us 下马威！We almost died of heart attack.

I must really say... my hand is gonna break if I continue to write like that - at this very speed ! 100 KM / hr hahahaha. Not that 夸张. Always rushing for time. Act fast. No time to think. Just keep on writing. Most of the time I dunno wad I am writing lei. ANd before you know, times Up and I just finish the paper... Practise my JIT (Just In Time) skills.

Cant rmb clearly wad was my record. It was set in my JC days. Econs my LOVE-HATE subj! I wrote ard 26 pages in 2.5 hrs. Was damm satisfied. My only concern is HOPE THAT THE MARKER will not FAINT AND DIE after reading my crap.

Yes, I forgot to mention... all my papers are CRAP esp today. Super crap. All u need is to crap out something in 2 or 2.5 hrs to hand in. And the worst thing is, I dunno if my crap is correct. Dieeed a million times when I think of it.

2 more battles to FIGHT before i put this WAR to an end. The upcoming one is probably a HEADACHE!
But with my team mates help and PLUS we are ALWAYS THE EFFICIENT TEAM, we manage to churn out answers fast.

Those who have not enter uni, "glad' to inform you that one module to be clear in 3 months is equivalent to one subj u need to clear in JC over 2 yrs. HAha. There is moreeee. apart from that, you still have assignments, projects, ppt workload where in JC, u onli onli focus on studying tutorials and lectures other than PW.

Not trying to scare anyone off. But I'm just stating facts.

DAY 4 rotting at home. Have been attain another level of tranquility another level of immortality by counting the number of days that I have not step out of my house.

Whatever I have done these weeks have to be fruitful. there must be results to compensate my LOSS. Loss in brain cells. Loss in Laughter. Loss in PLAYING.

Constant hungry is her current state. HAha. sometimes in the middle of the night, i will feel super hungry. at 4PM i am alr very hungryyy. ANd my life is in a mess cos other than those times i spent sleeping, i have been facing a pile of notes, books, files... getting up earlier these days.. sleeping lesser these days...

Grumpy & Whiney are my best friends.

I need to whineeeee!!! Although I have been staying home these days, books & notes are my best friendssss!! I HATE THEM though. but i dun have a choice =(

Exams are near and NEARER. This semester is a killer. Is this the trend?? I hope by the time I reach Yr 3, I wont kill myself or faint when the semester starts... Obstacles are everywhere. Everyday had to face different challenges although I really feel like slacking, even just for one day. Wheneva I go out, I will have self-innate reminder of my pile of work at home. Arghhh. I cannot stand this psychological stress.

I think I am gonna isolate myself at home. Will onli go out unless necessary until 7 MAY! Have been trying to throw away my phone, throw away my laptop cos they are realli JUNKS invented to lure into something cranky and waste all ur time in the cyber space for NTH!!

Recently, I think i feel that i haven fallen into a well? a trap? 我又一头载进去了。

Which is why I had been focusing on studies, career... and NTH else. Quite sad a life I think. Career over Love. Can foresee myself slogging my entire life after I grad. Climbing up the corporate leader is more impt to someone who is ambitious and aggressive. I dunno if I am up to the mark. ReJections!

Rejecting will cause a negative feel to everyone. It affects the mood of both parties. The one who rejected will feel bad. The one who has been rejected will feel damm sad.

I rejected quite a lot of things recently. Yupx thats why I felt very bad and need to blog to feel better. Wanna tell ALL of my peers, friends, potential employers etc that i am really sorry for rejecting.

I rejected 2 offers for internship recently cos I have alr sign my contact. I din realise I send out so many resumes. Guilty to reject their offers!

I rejected my snr for not joining him in organising the event. When he told me, he quite upset when I cant join him in the organising - I felt damm sorry. But I cant do anything! Damm guilty. As much as I want to play a part... i am unable to. Suggesting alternatives to him doesnt help, cos he really meant to organise an event with me.

Rejected YEC functions. Rejected Friends invites... I am really sorry realli sorry for not able to make it.

Arghhh Initally I dun intend to go for the 2nd part of the community project at our own consititency! Cos i wanan go home and SLEEP BIG TIME!!! need a lot of sleep.

But then... i KNOW this type of thing will happen. Not enuff people... What to do??? Do you have choice?

Luckily we din March to Aid - 1 KM. Running alr the estates finding the right family to distribute vouchers is totally FREAKING tiring especially under the burning sun. I was whining and whining to my Chair. Haha she oso got whine a bit. The 2 of us going to some estates while other 3 YEC members went to other parts.

Before i know, my day is almost OVER. Grrrr...

And NOW at 12:42AM, I suddenly feel like updating my YEC Goolge Calendar. It looks nicer with a big chunk of events on the list. But a second look at it makes me PUKE. I empathise my Chair. realise that every event she has to attend. Haizzz Keep Whining. Hahahaa Whine to offload your stress level =)

Yet once again, it has been proven I cannot live without YEC cos it has been part of my life since Sec 3. Hmmm and as the SAYing goes: if you get rid of it, Life will be empty.... To continue or not to? Ahaha I sort of sounded out my thoughts to my chair this morning when we are tgt. Hmmm if the condition and environment allows, she will continue to take the lead. YEah!!! At least, I still got time to consider if I am the suitable candidate for this postition. An accelerated path wont be good as you will tend to ask: So wad after chairmanship? Have no more corporate ladder to climb le... Give me some time to consider what i wanna achieve. Give me some time to plan my directions. So if really one day, i were to take the lead, I am firm and I knw what to achieve and wad to avoid. Let me be more familiarise w the surrounding and Let the surrounding know me better... Most importantly, let me be part of the process to build Frontier. It is really our hardship and our sweat all these years. Was reminded this morning that: You have not even put Frontier in the stable position, it has just been taking off. Leave when it is stable. Looks like i emo big time and had gone a long long way... at the same time, i have abandon my blog for LONG. Oops... I have been termed as CUI~~~ when i go sch. Totally a walking zombie. Tea has been my DRUG to temporary keep me awake.

6 days of intensive project-ing. an avg 4-5 hrs of slp isnt getting me anywhere. I slept like a pig today - overslept for 2 hrs as i keep snoozing my alarm. My sleep debts are seriously too hard to recover... mere 2 hrs isnt enuff to compensate.

Chaotic life. Chaosssss in the spinning head every morning i wake up... Chaoss in my diet cos i keep snacking.... Chaos during lessons when nth goes in cos my brain is not working due to the lack of sleep... Chaos during project chiong-ing nites... Chaos to my quiz (screw all UP). i seriously thinks that my life is screwed.

Quite tempted to go out and PLAY instead of mugging... every weekend is a Sadded life cos u will think so many backlogs and MONDAY is NEAR. when Monday comes, the whole cycle starts all over again.

I just just just realise after 6 yrs of service, i have a love-hate relationship with YEC. Starting to hate it - has become a chore when i am super busy in sch and have to settle stuff thru lots of phone calls. Love it becos it still helps me relieve stress. But i think YEC will still be my FUN factor when exams are over. SCH is the deciding FACTOR- an irritating factor too =X

As the silence killer creeps is way in ... as the semester reach a peak, no matter how strong you as a rubber band is... the elasticity wont last. the battery life span died. The rubber band will *Piak* snap! The battery will die off.

Have been emo...in many many aspects. The prioritisation of work and play - the system dun work at all. All work no play makes Lesley a dull gal. But with playing considered, work wont be finished on time. This is the trade-off.

Forgone quite a number of FUN, quite a lot of commitment. It is really a very tough decision to make. Especially when your most impt commitment - the FUN when doing a part for the community is largely forgone. I believe I have to miss more events especially March is the month where every weekend, there is an event!!! I have to forgo more events at the expense of my busy sch workload ahead.

There is one friend who replied me : If i were you, i will also feel worthless. Yes. Worthless. Well, my net realisable value has been 0 all the while. in fact, the revaluation every now and then is soon gonna turn me into obsolete inventory. I think by now, the ans is certain of why I am emo* The thought and dreams just perish in front of you when the cold hard cruel facts just smack right onto your face. The daydreaming, the hope.. all has been thrown far away in the big sea. Although this feel has been numb. But each time, I still ask myself: WORTHLESS? is that the reason why dreams are not reality and wad you think and like will not happen anyway. Just because people just dont see any virtues in me.

Besides, why so happy when I receive the phone call from ___? I think I might be the weakest link there given most of them are top scorers, dean lister.. smarter than the slow and brainless me. Will kenna thrash...

Cant stop thinking of the various things I need to do. Cant stop heaping and accept the fact that I am not worth it. The confidence-lacking gal needs to dig a hole and bury her sorrow.

I am very stressssss... Keep thinking of the things to finish. ANYWAY, I had a YEC weekend - quite an interesting one!

The Prime Minister and his Cabinet Ministers hosted the Chinese New Year Garden Party for Grassroots Leaders at the Istana Lawn. So honoured to be nominated the first time after my 5 years of service in grassroots. This year is gonna be the 6 year!

The objective of this event is to show appreciation to grassroots leaders for their dedication to community service. It is also a joyous occasion for the Advisers and grassroots leaders to meet and mingle in an informal setting.

The amt of ppl I saw - about 4000 people!!!

Adding to the festive mood will be community talents that have been nurtured by the grassroots organisations. The Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra, which started at Chua Chu Kang Community Club, is today a multiple award-winning group, regularly holding concerts alongside other leading orchestras from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan.

Guests can also look forward to handicraft demonstrations by People’s Association (PA) Trainers. In line with the PA’s mission to bridge communities, traditional crafts of various ethnic groups including Chinese paper lanterns, Indian Henna hand painting, Peranakan beading and Malay "Bunga Rampai" (Malay version of a potpourri) will be showcased.

LONGGGGG recess week Ahead!! Rather busy one. Once i think of sch work, thousand and one things jus surge my mind. is too overwhelming!!!

Today is the start of my SHIONG YEC wk!! 3 more days to GO! I am realli driving myself crazy. As much as I want to siam YEC stuff, there are just things that need to be done!!! I do not have a choice =( Perhaps that's the way to work for a typical accountant or auditor. Stresss...

I worry... WORRY abt the poor outcome and turnout for Car Wash! Not very confident but decide to give it a try. 2 months of crazy publicity has realli make me wonder " will my publicity channels work?"

CYC Phase 2 general meeting, was there to support our sweetest chairlady in the west region from Boon Lay YEC. She won the highest votes!!! Congrats to entering CYC =) I did an impromptu publicity abt my car wash at CYC meeting. Ooopsss. But i think it realli helps. Some chairmen already give their word to come down and support!! Thanks alot=) Touched ~ Haha my long journey to Lavender PAHQ was worthwhile because of that. 4 chairmen agreed so far - one of them being my former teacher in JJ! Keep on spreading the words!!!

Maybe thats why though this 20 years, I dun realli feel towards home. In fact, I yearn for a smaller home, not the one big family kind of home. A small family of 3 living under one roof would be just nice! That's my dream.
